I know that I went ahead and changed my blog design so that it's very un-Thanksgiving looking, but I still wanted to post a Thanksgiving something. Here goes...
I am thankful for.....
1. All the wonderful family and friends I have in my life. They are my world and the best support system a girl could ask for.
2. My oh-so-awesome husband. We celebrated our 5th anniversary a few weeks ago and I realize more and more everyday just how blessed I am to have him in my life.
3. My beautiful home that I get to come home to everyday.
4. My job. After being unemployed for a year and a half and all the trials & tribulations that put us through, I am so glad that God is faithful! He brought us through the fire in His arms and all the while strengthened my faith in Him. My new job is such a blessing. I had prayed and prayed for the right job to come along and it truly did. I am 20 minutes from my house and I have zero traffic to get through daily now.
5. Food on our table.
6. Two working cars.
7. My little invitation design business that I started while unemployed. I truly LOVE doing it and I hope that it continues to flourish.
8. My church home. Lanny and I had first visited GUMC in 2008 when we first moved into our house, but for one reason or another, we stopped attending. Well, after I lost my job in 2008, the Lord really started working on my life in particular. So, in the Fall of 2009 (I didn't say it was a fast process...lol), we started visiting again and it just felt right. We love our church home. I never thought as a former Southern Baptist girl, that I'd be the one to convert. ha ha! I love the warmth and feeling of family I experience every single time I walk through those church doors!
9. Lanny's job. I know that he hates it pretty much every single day, but I know that God has great things in-store for him in the future.
10. My wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
I pray that everyone has a blessed and safe Thanksgiving holiday!
