Woo hoo....I can finally post a couple of projects that I've done lately since I gave them as gifts today. The daughter of one of my mom's friends since childhood is having a baby boy due in September. Today was the baby shower. First of all, I designed the baby shower invitations...
With me still being unemployed, I had to get creative with my gift. I have posted before about the "Wordles" or Word Collages I have made. Well, I did one with the babies name on it and the surrounded it by words, names, etc... Here is a close-up of it and a picture of the printed copy (which I printed using a Winkflash gift card I had won) in it's frame.
I have been seeing online about being doing freezer paper stenciling and I wanted to make some cute onesies using this technique. It was SOOOOO easy and instructions are easy to find by just Googling. Here is a picture of the 3 onesies that I stenciled...
That's all I have really been up to here lately. I have done a couple of other invitations and such that I have on my design blog (link on the right side of the page) and I am fixing to start a 1st Birthday invitation project and I'm excited about that! I just found your Blog today through TidyMom.net and I quickly found myself subscribing to your Blog....I LOVE your Baby Shower Invitation, your framed "wordle" gift AND your stenciled onesies....I seriously need to learn more about "wordle" and stenciling with freezer paper....My daughter's best friend is expecting and both would make fabulous gifts!
