My Creative Space

Since it's so so so hot outside, I thought I would share pictures of my craft room...nice air conditioned craft room.  Ha ha!   You'll have to excuse the cluttered mess that it is.  There is always a project in the works!  There are orange letters scattered around the room and I have talked about those areas below each picture.

A- Gotta have the Twilight Sweet Tarts box!  lol
B- That is the lightswitch plate from my room when I was a baby!  It has my name on it.
C- My messy messy craft table.  That table was bought before we got married (it was green when I bought it at an antique store).  I refused to continue using it as a kitchen table when we bought our house though.  lol   It served it's purpose at the time, but it's just too small for a kitchn table.  I keep all of my necessary supplies on the table....adhesives, trimmer, paint brushes, pens, etc....My bible also tends to stay on the table or in the floor in this room.
D- This piece of furniture was purchased at the Unfinished Furniture store and I painted it white and added the nickel knobs.  It was originally used for my own personal storage in our apartment bathroom and it is a perfect fit in my craft room now to hold pens/colored pencils, tools, cardstock, envelopes, and paints.

E- The Cricut.  I've had mine since before they became so popular.....almost 4 years maybe.  I actually got mine on sale at Walmart because they weren't selling at that time!  ha ha.  I do use it often, but not as often as I could if I had more cartridges.  It's fun to play with though.
F- Of course, The Twilight Saga has a home in here! ha ha!
G- This storage cart is full of embellishments in the top drawer and then the other two drawers are both full of ribbon.
H- This cart is full of a little bit of everything.  There are lots of paper and scraps (4 drawers at this point I think....need to clean those out), a sticker drawer, an embossing drawer, a misc. tool drawer,  a drawer of clear stamps, and 2 drawers of wooden stamps.  The green containers on top of the cart contain ink pads, an embossing gun, and other misc. stuff.
I- Those 2 big containers are all 12x12 papers. They are divided into patterned and solid papers between the 2 boxes.  The little box is full of embellishments.
J- Just a box of cheap plastic storage containers.  We received this as a wedding gift and it just sat in storage until we moved here because I just didn't have room for anymore containers.  They have turned out to be a PERFECT solution in my craft room though because there are lots of little containers to store embossing powers, buttons, etc....  The popcorn container was found for a $1.00 and I just haven't found a use for it yet.
K- Had to mention this little shelf display because I never posted about the "A" I made a while back.  I never could figure out where to put it until it found it's home on this shelf.
L- I wanted to mention the white shelves in the room.  They aren't the most modern or stylish shelves, but they were free and they have meaning.  My Papa Harris made both of them you see in the room and the bigger one hung in my bedroom from the time I was a girl to when I got married and moved out of my parents house.  I just updated them a bit by painting them white.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is more stuff in the closet, but there is no way that I was going to show that mess on here!  My hope is to eventually put a larger table across that back wall for the Cricut and to just have more work space for larger projects or just to have a place to let things sit and dry.  But for now, this is what I have and I love it.  It got really old when we lived in our apartment actually having to clean-up all of my mess every single time I had to stop working on something since it was all over our kitchen table and in our "dining room."  lol  Thanks for visiting!
