It's been a hot and humid past few days! I am not ready for Summer at all either.....at least the temperatures. There hasn't been too much going on with us here lately. Had a great visit from Lanny's mom and aunt over the weekend.
Here is a picture taken on May 17th of our garden. I have labeled what everything is for ya. Anna's watermelons are now residing at her house and our own container of watermelon seedlings have also been planted since this picture was taken.
Here's my annual picture of the first blooms from my daylillies...
I have also had several creative projects here lately. I must say that it was nice! I actually put together my first actual scrapbook page in a LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG time! Granted, it wasn't for me and I think that is why it was easier for me to make! ha ha!
First, here is the graduation card that I made for my cousin Shelby. I was 12 when she was born and she makes me feel old! ha ha! She was also the Jr. Bridesmaid in our wedding.
The inside of the card....
A close-up of the photo collage from the inside.
A birthday card for my Granny Johnson.
This is an 8x8 inch scrapbook page that I made for our departing pastor & his wife at church. We haven't really gotten to know them very well in the short time we've been attending regularly, but Brother Chuck still played a part in why we have grown to love Gladeville UMC. I thought I would make a page to add to the scrapbook that is being put together for them. I don't do any traditional scrapbooking, so this was a milestone for me. lol It was actually not too bad in this small size.
I pray that you have a great rest of your week!
God Bless!
