February already!

My oh my....this year is already flying by!  Hard to believe that it's February already.  Things have been pretty calm around Gladeville for us.  We did get about 4 to 5 inches of snow late last week!  Here are a couple of pictures of what it looked like at our house...

That 2nd pic shows the snowdrift that is right in front of our front door.  It's like 2 feet deep!  Hopefully the rain we get in the next day or two will help to melt it because it's very hard to get in and out of our front door at the moment.  ha ha!   Unfortunately, with Lanny working most of the weekend during the snow and the fact that there aren't really hills near my house, I wasn't able to go sledding or anything.  So, just pics of the pretty snow this time.   

Lanny's birthday is next week on the 10th!  I try to make birthdays special because I think birthdays are fun!   I also love Valentine's day and it's right around the corner.  Probably has something to do with me liking the color red so much. ha ha!  Here's a picture of my quickie wreath that is on my front door...

 

I had had the plain grapevine wreath up since I took my Christmas wreath down. I had the wooden "Love" so I painted it & added the red paper on the front.  Then I cut all the hearts out with my Cricut.  Wired everything to the wreath (so I can take everything off and use the wreath again) and TA DA!  Simple and I thought it turned out pretty cute.

That's about all that has been going on with us.  Lanny is working all the time and I'm still job hunting.  I have made a few sets of wedding monograms for people here lately and they have all found me on the web.  So, that's encouraging!  In the next couple of weeks, I'll make sure to post my Valentine cards and Lanny's birthday card.  I hope everyone has a blessed rest of their week and weekend!
