Lanny was off all last week. It was extremely nice for both of us since it had been a very long time since he had really had that much time off. Besides Christmas, his last vacation was last November. Way way way overdue. So, we had a little "stay-cation." On Wednesday, Lanny decided that he wanted to go to the Nashville Zoo. The weather was not too hot and the humidity was down. Perfect! We really had a great time! Here are some pictures that we took of our visit...
There is a story about why this picture of me in the bamboo was taken. There is another picture of me like this that exists. When Lanny and I were dating, we visited Cheekwood. They have a bamboo area there too and I posed for a pic in it too.
The trees were apparently coated with something the giraffes liked because they were all licking those trees like crazy!

This is a card that I made for my brother-in-law Kip's birthday. The stars sort of have a 3-D effect to them since they are layered and then the star eyelets are scattered across it too.
