Gosh, it sure is hot!

There has been a little delay in posting. For one, there just wasn't a whole lot going on and two the things I had made, I couldn't post pictures of them until I actually gave the cards to the recipients! I've got another card with that same problem right now! ha ha! Oh well....you'll see it in a couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll have some fun stuff to post next week since Lanny and I are going to the RC Cola & Moon Pie Festival in Bell Buckle, Tennessee this Saturday. I have a confession...as far as I know, I have never had a Moon Pie. Yeah, I don't know how that happened, but I would imagine that I'll be having one on Saturday. Hopefully I'll have pictures to prove it. Ok, on to my latest pictures...

Look...it's my very first little baby tomato!!! Just think...this is from the tomato plant that my dad had thought was dead! It's amazing what a little Miracle Grow potting soil & water will do!

I have been experimenting here recently with sewing on cards. I actually received a sewing machine for Christmas from my parents with the intention of on sewing on paper, but I haven't been brave enough to try it yet (it's done all the time by other crafters). So, I did some hand sewing. I must say...it was quite fun. It does take longer than the typical card I make, but the end result turns out pretty darn nice. Here is a picture of the cards I made for my mom's and Michelle Casey's birthdays.

I hope that everyone had a great rest of their week and stays cool!

God Bless,

  1. Gosh Alicia, you're a regular green thumb! Love the cards, I so want to learn how to do that. :)
