When Lanny and I bought our house in 2008, we had several fencing companies come out and give us estimates for a tabletop/capped privacy fence. Well, moving into a brand new house is very expensive and we just put it off. Plus, at that time, there were no houses yet in the neighborhood behind us. Fast forward 2 and a half years later and now there are lots of houses behind us and the house built on the lot right behind us is now pending. The time to get a fence is NOW! We ended up going with the same fence company we had decided on when we first moved in because they impressed us then and this time still. Here are some pics of our new fence...
No, this part of the fence is not unfinished. We decided to put a tall (to match the height of the rest of the fence) farm fence on the side of our backyard that borders the pasture/homeplace. We like being able to sit on our patio while looking at the cows!
Lanny is going to be spending his week healing. He had a gum graft done Friday afternoon and he's on a soft foods only diet until the 25th. He's only on day 3 and he's already very tired of it.

I'm loving the farm fence. I never would have thought of doing that!! Think of how much fun a rugrat is going to have running over to that fence and "talking" to the cows.
