We all have those things in our life that make us happy. It can be something small or something large. It's just something that we love to have surrounding us in our everyday life. I went around my house and took pictures of 6 things that I love. They just make me happy!
Pretty paper! This is my stack of 12x12 patterned scrapbook paper. I use all this for cards and other projects. I've had some of it for a very long time and probably will never use some of it, but I can't part with it. The paper section of a craft store can get me in trouble quick! I have just as much solid paper....by the way. lol It's an obsession for sure!
Pictures! This is just a sampling of the pictures in frames that I have scattered around my house. I just adore having pictures of family surrounding me. To me, pictures really make a house a home. I seriously have a love affair going on with my KitchenAid mixer. It's been that way since I got it. Oh...excuse the water spots on the bowl (darn our hard water)...I have a red cover that normally keeps the hard water stains hidden. lol I am not a serious baker or anything, but I do love it when I get to use it. Otherwise, I'm just content to get to look at it. ha ha!
Oh, my laptop.....how I love thee! I've only had it for a few months and it's most definitely my favorite electronic device in my house. I never knew just how much I would love being able to sit downstairs on the couch while on the internet or in my craft room designing an invitation. It's definitely encouraged way more blog updates!!
This series of books alone got me to read again. I have always kept up with the Nicholas Sparks books, but I never read anything else very often. Now, I have not only read the Twilight series 3 times, but I have started visiting the library to read even more. Oh...in case you are wondering, I am totally Team Edward! ;o)
My refrigerator....When we bought our house, it was SOOOO much fun refrigerator shopping. It helped that the builder kicked in a cash bonus that paid for it, but we would have bought this same refrigerator regardless. I ADORE my Samsung French door refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. They could seriously get us to do commercials for them....that's how much we love it. There is water access on the inside left of the fridge and the ice is in the bottom. The thing will hold A LOT of stuff too. I wouldn't dare show you the inside...heck, this isn't MTV Cribs! ha! Oh...and notice how I have another photo gallery on the front. I've tried to not put so much stuff on the refrigerator, but it hasn't worked. lol It's just the "go to" place for coupons, doctors appointment reminders, calendars, pictures, etc.....
I hope that everyone has a wonderful week and that we get some much needed rain this week!
God Bless!
I soooo want a french-door refrigerator. I secretly pray every day for the one we have to die so I can get one!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the red KitchenAid too! Great color choice!
