Christmas Expedition 2009

Lanny and I had a great Christmas.  We were crazy tired after it was all over, but it was fun.  This Monday morning, Lanny and I looked at each other and realized that we had literally been going non-stop since the Wednesday before Christmas!  Whew....enough is enough!   Here are a few pictures from our Christmas adventures through the week...

It all really started the Saturday before Christmas when we went to LuLu's Coffeehouse in Watertown, TN to hear my cousin Jenny sing. She was doing a Christmas show along with her friend Rusty.  Such a neat little place that is perfect for Watertown.  We really did have a good time and it was awesome to see a big group of family and friends come out to support Jenny!  Here is a little video of one of her songs....
MUTE THE MUSIC PLAYER FIRST

We started out our eating expedition at my parents on Wednesday with just my immediate family.  Mom always wants us to pose for some pictures and this year they turned out really good.

The next stop for us was back to my parents house on Christmas Eve for the Johnson family Christmas.  I didn't take a whole lot of pictures, but this one of my cousin Shelby (who is 18 now and makes me feel old...lol) is pretty funny!

Our next stop was going to Lanny's parents house in Leoma, TN on Christmas day.  I haven't quite been able to distract them enough to take pictures, so I took one of the cat instead....Rufus didn't seem too thrilled with it either.  lol

After getting back on Saturday night, we had to get our house cleaned up and ready to go since the Harris/Griffin Christmas was going to be at our house this year.  YIKES!  Our very first family gathering like that in our home.  We survived with only a couple of casualties.  lol  Here's a pic of everybody all gathered together on our stairs...

My cousin Ethan (behind my shoulder) was not happy by this point!  ha ha!  You can see at least part of everyones head.  ;o)

I've been trying to get all of the Christmas decorations down this week and I'm almost done.  Still in a mess of storage boxes, but I'm getting closer!  Lanny is off tomorrow, so I'm hoping he can help me get the trees taken apart and stored away for another year.  I pray that each of you have a fun and safe New Years!  I'll be staying at home since Lanny is working New Years day.  God Bless!
