August already....

Gosh, it's hard to believe that it's August already! Time has really flown since I lost my job. I still haven't been able to find a job, but I search daily. I know that God will provide all of my needs and so far that has been true. I thank God for that unemployment check every week when it arrives and the emergency benefits becoming available right when my regular benefits ran out was a blessing. I just pray that God will guide me towards the job that He has intended for me very soon... I know He will. Other than that, Lanny and I are doing well. I'll hopefully be blogging more now since we got rid of our Verizon Wireless internet yesterday and had cable internet installed (no cable TV...we have satellite). The Verizon internet wasn't bad, but the 5GB a month limit was just hindering my creativity too much! lol I email way too many pictures and download/upload way too many large graphic files to be so limited. It served it's purpose though since we got it before cable was even out here. That and getting a new cell phone later this week is about all the excitement I have going on right now. Oh, I did start working on an actual scrapbook page yesterday. I haven't done an actual page in years. The pages I am working on are in the book that I started for Lanny and I a few months after we started dating and I knew he was a "keeper." ha ha! I finally brought it home from my parents house last weekend. So, I'm gonna finish the book off with an engagement page and a few wedding pages. Just wrap it all up to the point where we are married since the book is about dates we had, places we went, etc... Don't know that I'll post them on here though. The book has lots of journaling in it. I guess I could take pictures and blur out the journaling! ha ha! Speaking of stuff I've made here lately.... here is the card that I made recently for my sister-in-law Michelle's graduation from Vanderbilt with her Masters in Nursing....

I hope that everyone has a blessed week!

Love,

Alicia
