It was a weekend of staying close to home. Lanny and I had a couple of things we wanted to do around the house anyways so it worked out perfectly. After a day of little projects on Saturday, we went over to my parents for some yummy dinner and just spent time hanging out. It was nice to just do nothing on Sunday but watch some DVD's we borrowed from Lanny's brother and chill. Here are some pictures to share from our weekend...
I had finally had enough of my poor pansies looking pitiful from the warm weather out on our front sidewalk. So I pulled them up and planted some cheerful pink wave petunias. Excuse the condition of the paint on the pot. I thought about repainting it for about 2 seconds, but before I know it the flowers will be cover it all up. ha ha!
Ok, I'm sure that no one can tell what this is from looking at the picture. This is a place to put our trashcan. It's on the right side of our house (fenceline side). Since we seeded our lawn, our trashcan has been sitting on the driveway. Well, it's right behind my car and I have to move it everytime I want to back my car out of the garage. This is a project that we have wanted to get done since we moved in. Just some brick & sand. It's still a work in progress until it gets itself all leveled and the sand sinks in.
My first lily bloom of the season! They should be hanging full of blooms very soon! Love it! These are planted along one side of the back of our house.
I couldn't show off the lily without showing my pretty gerbera daisies! Love the bright, vibrant pink! This is on my patio.
I hope that everyone has a blessed week ahead of them and a very safe Memorial Day!
